Run and Configure

There are several ways to start and to stop VTScada and VTScada applications, including options to automate both tasks. See Start and Stop.

 

• For developers, the first tool to use after installation is the VTScada Application Manager (VAM), where (among other tasks) you can Add New Applications.
• Operators (and developers) will need to know the fundamental Operational Controls that are common to all applications including how to Print....
• By Configuration Properties, developers can exercise extensive control over how VTScada looks and works.
• System administrators will be interested in knowing about using VTScada as a Windows® Service.
• What you can do in an application depends on the privileges that have been granted to you. Start with the Operator's Guide to Security. Developers should review Best Practices for Security.
