This function is the same as the '.' operator, when the '.' operator is used between two operands. (Object.Member). As an example, the LocalScope() function is useful for referencing a tag object where its name contains special characters or spaces: TagObj = LocalScope(\VTSDB, "R&R Level") |
Example:
TagName = "MyTag"; TagObj = LocalScope(\VTSDB, TagName);
Returns a reference to the given tag object, found within the current module.
This is the equivalent to:
\VTSDB.MyTag
